ABI Technochem manufactures granular and powdered activated carbon from coconut-shell charcoal and exports it to companies around the world. Incorporated in 2008, it began manufacturing in 2009 as a 100% export-oriented unit — inspired by the charcoal trade our founder grew up around.
Our carbon is valued for its well-developed pore structure, high hardness and low dust, which give it strong adsorption performance across liquid-phase, vapour-phase and precious-metal recovery applications.
Being in Thoothukudi — a major port, with the airport about 15 km away — gives export shipments short, reliable road and sea links, and a dedicated team keeps a close watch on product quality.
